Visiting Quebec

Looking for a new destination for your next vacation? How about Quebec City, Canada. Most of people know Canada for its Niagara Falls and metropolitan cities like Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal. But if you travel to Quebec City, you will see a whole different world.

Quebec City is like Europe in North America.  What makes it a different destination is because it offers a unique French culture. I bet you would not believe that 96% of people in the city use French as their first language. Being influenced by the French and the English in its early days, this walking city offers abundant unique architectures for you to admire; it is absolutely ideal for walking tours. Of course, there are plenty of other things to do in Quebec City. In the winter, Christmas is magical in Old Quebec; Carnival is entertaining for both adults and kids; illuminated ice hotel is romantically beautiful. Spring time, you have to try Sugar Shack, where authentic maple products are served at its finest. Music festivals last all summer long, accompanied by New France Festival. And if you love colour changing scenic views of the nature, you will not miss the autumn in Quebec.

Quebec City is highly accessible. It is 151 miles from Montreal, 381 miles from Boston, 476 miles from Toronto, and 524 miles from New York. There are a lot of places to stay, you could have a Chateau Frontenac experience or stay at a cozy B&B; there are a lot of places to eat, you could try traditional Quebecois food or indulge in some fine international cuisine.

Come for a getaway in Quebec City, just a few days, to enjoy the “Paris of North America.”
